Welcome to Amen Charitable Organization, where no child is left behind. Our journey began with a simple yet profound mission: to bring light and love to orphaned children in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. We offer more than just a place to stay; we provide a sanctuary where each child is embraced with compassion, nourished with food, and supported through every step of their journey.

Currently, we provide shelter to 50 wonderful children in Addis Ababa. Our impact extends further as we also feed and support the education of many more children in the community. We are dedicated to expanding our reach and helping even more children in need.

Our commitment to these children goes beyond meeting their daily needs. This year, we proudly launched our bakery initiative, a project designed to foster self-sustainability and empower our community. The bakery serves a dual purpose: it provides fresh, nutritious food for the children and generates crucial income to sustain our programs. Every loaf of bread and pastry crafted here not only supports our mission but also secures a brighter future for those we serve.

Amen Charity Organization was founded in 2017, as an indigenous non-government, non-profit humanitarian voluntary organization, to play its part in addressing some of the issues associated with the overwhelming cases of orphans, abandoned and destitute children. The Organization has been registered with the Organizations of civil society’s proclamation No. 1113/2011.
